These so-called lead generation companies claiming to be selling “Sales Leads” for pennies are in actuality what were once referred to as List Brokers. They will create a list, using your criteria, from their massive databases and sell it to you for a few cents per record. These records are not by any stretch of the imagination qualified sales leads. A reputable, experienced lead generation company will turn this list into “Sales Opportunities” by contacting each prospect and asking a few pointed questions. You will then be given qualified leads for the final phase of your sales process and do what you and your sales staff do best – SELL.
